Fantastic ocean and mountain view. Fully furnished house. Walking distance to the beach. Rent by the week. Sleeps six. The house is situated on on 5 acres of view property near Phipps Point. There are spectacular views of Denman Island, Lambert Channel and the mountains of Vancouver Island from the wrap around deck. The living room/dining room is spacious with French doors and a wood stove for use if the weather is chilly. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and the fridge has a good size freezer area. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs containing 2 double beds and 2 singles. The full bathroom is also upstairs. Discounts available for multiple weeks.

Price Description
  The home is available for rent during the 'summer season' on a weekly basis at a charge of $950 dollars per week.

(To confirm your reservation I must receive your $400 dollar deposit per week within two weeks of your telephone booking. In case of a cancellation $200 dollars is refundable with six weeks notice.)

Occupancy is from 4PM Saturday until 10AM the following Saturday.

Area Attractions
  Access to the neighbourhood beach is about 5 minutes walk from the house.

Additional Comments
  * We are unable to accommodate pets and request that smoking be confined to the deck areas.

* All linens are supplied but please bring your own beach towels.

* There is no washer, dryer, telephone or radio.

The owner lives on the property in a mobile home not visible from the house.

Water is always in short supply during the summer on Hornby therefore great care must be taken with the use of the well water. [showers only] The water has an odour of sulfur which dissipates when left standing in a jug overnight. This is not harmful but some guests prefer to use bottled water for drinking and 18 litres per week is provided.
