Nestled in the midst of the rainforest this handbuilt eco-house sleeps six adults and two children. An eight minute walk from Sandpiper beach, this artistically crafted Hornby house in the midst of a shared 12-acre property, has direct access to a trail system extending through Mount Geoffrey Regional Park.
Although close to inspiring beaches and island amenities, this beautiful forested acreage, mainly Douglas Firs and Red Cedars, is also private and spacious.
The unique maple kitchen is well equipped. You'll find a blender, toaster, electric stove, refrigerator, and coffee maker, grinder. Outside there is a propane barbecue and a deep freezer. The master loft has a king size futon (left). There are two kid's sized bunks in the children's loft suitable for small people ages four and up. The ground floor bedroom has a queen size bed; two twin size futons in the livingroom can be made up into beds. After a hot day on the beach take a long soak in a claw foot bath with a forest view. There is an indoor composting toilet. Please provide your own towels and bed sheets. We provide pillows and blankets. Ideal for six, the house can comfortably accommodate up to eight people.
