In summer, relax and dine on the large deck. In winter, cuddle up next to the wood stove. The kitchen is fully equipped. Our home sits among firs and arbutus trees, high on the bluff overlooking legendary Tribune Bay. From the deck is one of the best views anywhere in the world.

It is a few minutes walk to spectacular Helliwell Park and a quick car or bike ride down to the wide sandy beach and swimming waters of Tribune Bay.

Floor to ceiling windows allow for full appreciation of the location, with the forest behind and the ocean in front.

Watch eagles in our ancient arbutus trees. Deer often graze nearby. In summer, relax and dine on the large deck. In winter, cuddle up next to the wood stove.

Price Description
  Rates for Above Tribune Bay:

The Cottage is available all year.

By the week, check-in is Sunday at 4 pm . Check-out is Sunday at 11 am.

The rate is $1700 /week in July and August.
During the rest of the year the rate is $1000/week. Our weekly rental is Sunday 4pm to Sunday 11am.

We also accommodate night stays, our rate is $150 per night with a minimum 2 night stay please.

Half of rental fee due at time of booking with the balance due June 15th.

In case of cancellation we will refund 90% of the fee if we are able to re-book the week.

  At the forests edge. Big decks, floor to ceiling windows in front and rear of fully equipped cottage with spectacular view of Tribune Bay . Few minutes walk to bluffs of Helliwell Park or sandy beach.

Additional Comments
  Smoking and pets are not allowed in the home or on the property.

Because of the high cliff, this is not a safe location for young children. However this is a great place for adults or families with older children looking for a quiet get-away.

Saturday is the "best" day on Hornby with the farmers market, movies, concerts and dances.

The house is fully furnished, and has all you need; towels, bed linens, pillows, blankets, even a washer and dryer.
